echo

ECHO
by J.K. Accinni

FREE TO DOWNLOAD ON JAN 22nd & JAN 23rd

Netty’s influence transcends a full century as the United States evolves to a point of politically driven economic collapse. The year is 2033 as a young mother, abused by her shiftless husband, heroically decides to remove her two sickly children, Scotty and Abby, from the mean streets of their government subsidized tenement town of Short Hills, New Jersey to the hills and old farmland of Sussex County. There they unite with a Latino family that adopted Jose, a young boy from Costa Rica, traumatized at the age of seven by the brutal murder of his parents and the kidnapping of his infant sister.
The two families unite to pool finances, creating the love and bonds that will enable them to survive the psychotic attention of Armoni, a soul damaged beyond redemption, discovery of Baby’s miraculous offspring, Echo; and their subsequent body changes. Through the efforts of Echo who develops an unexplained passion for the curly haired dog, Barney, they flee the clutches of Armoni after the murder of Armoni’s sidekicks by Echo, to Sarasota, Florida, one of the last remaining enclaves of wealth in the U.S.
Scotty learns to utilize Echo as a co-conspirator in his intrigue to thwart the efforts of heinous people that prey on the lives of creatures in their environmentally rich new home, where the
insidious miscreant, Armoni, tracks them; dragging along Ginger Mae, a New York City prostitute looking for opportunity with her mute child, Daisy; bringing brutality and violence to all.
Having fallen in love, the young Abby and Jose draw close, only to be separated by the transcendental Netty, who tries to use Abby as a conduit in her plan to rescue as much wildlife as they can before despicable political events bring on the specter of Armageddon.

About the Author

J. K. Accinni was born and raised in Sussex County before moving to Randolph, New Jersey, where she lived with her husband, five dogs and eight rabbits, all rescued and currently resides in Sarasota, Florida. Mrs. Accinni’s passion for wildlife conservation has led her all over the world, including three trips to Africa, where ten years ago she and her husband fell in love with a baby elephant named Wendi, that had been rescued by a wildlife group. That baby is the inspiration for the character Tobi, the elephant featured in her fourth book titled Hive.
The character of Caesar is inspired by a real life iconic tiger from Big Cat Habitat and Gulf Coast Sanctuary in Sarasota. A portion of the proceeds from her third book, Armageddon Cometh, will be donated to the sanctuary in support of the enormous expense required to house and feed the displaced wildlife in their care. Mrs. Accinni invites her readers to visit bigcathabitat.org to view the astounding facility and plan a visit with your family.

Taboo Kisses

Taboo Kisses
by Gracen Miller

WARNING: This book is intended for a mature audience at least 18 years of age or older. Contains graphic sexual content and high amounts of sexual content. If you find any of the following offensive, then this book is NOT for you: m/m, m/f/m, double penetration, anal play, sex-toy play, sex-fruit play, shifter sex, voyeurism, forced seduction, and anything else I might've forgotten to list!

Taboo Kisses…where desires and inhibitions collide.

Dispatched to the mortal realm from Atlantis to seek the source of a brewing rebellion, Sameya is thrown for a tailspin when she discovers her fated mates. As a siren her songs entice mankind and immortals alike to their death. She’s stunned to be seduced by a taboo union with a tiger-shifter and vampyr. Mating the pair could complicate everything and threaten her freedom. Fueled by her duty to Atlantis, Sameya rejects fate’s wisdom and refutes her attraction to the men.

Taboo Kisses…when the forbidden becomes irresistible.

Gabriel and Maximus have been searching for their mate for centuries. Neither expected the siren they were hired to find would deliver more than a lucrative payday. Frustrated by Sameya’s aversion to their mating, the men anticipate an empty future if she refuses to complete their union. In a rash move Maximus seizes Sameya and holds her captive.

Taboo Kisses…when the siren is serenaded with temptation.

Trapped and at their mercy, Sameya is bombarded with pleasure. Can her mates convince her to take a gamble on their taboo union? With danger lurking in the shadows, will the choice be taken from her?

EXCERPT:

Empress’ delights, she disliked the jumbled way he made her feel. Confused one moment and aroused the next. “What is your name?”
“Call me mate.”
Her breathing died, then escalated. She forced a lame-ass sounding laugh past her lips. “Don’t get cocky. I’m not into leeches.”
“Don’t disqualify me from the running.” He sidled closer, aligning his body against hers once more, but maintaining space with his palms on the mausoleum on either side of her head. “Not when Gabriel and I haven’t had the gratification of making you come…yet.”
She gasped, her eyes rounding at his foregone conclusion. “Better men than you have tried.”
“None of them were your mates.”
“Wait! Mates? As in plural?” She flattened her hands against his chest to push him away, but forgot to add pressure. The hard contours of his body fascinated her more than
was practical. “That’s…insane.” But gods the idea fascinated her. “Sirens don’t partner outside our race and we certainly don’t have more than one partner.”
Sameya didn’t realize she spoke the thought aloud until the vampyr thrust both his hands into her hair. After he had her anchored into position, he shifted closer, widening his stride to fit her pelvis between his legs. His hard-on nestled against her abdomen as he tilted her head back by her hair.
“No more insane than a vampyr mating a shifter.” His mouth landed on hers. He nibbled on her bottom lip, licked the corners and crease. Distracted by the exhilarating sensations, she was unprepared to counteract his move when he placed the pad of his thumb against her chin and tugged, parting her lips for his tongue to thrust inside.

About the author
She's a hopeless daydreamer masquerading as a "normal" person in southern society.  When not writing, She is a full-time karate/football/guitar mom for her two very active sons. She's also a devoted wife to my real-life hero-husband of almost 19 years.  She's addicted to writing, reading paranormal romance novels and watching movies, Alabama football (college football...the SEC rocks!!) and coffee...addictions are not necessarily in order of priority.  She is convinced coffee is nectar from the gods and blending coffee and writing together generates the perfect creative merger.  Many of her creative worlds are spawned from coffee highs.
I copied all of that I copied off of her website so I'd also like to add that she is an amazing woman with a great sense of humor and I'm proud to be one of her Hellhounds.

My Review
The first thing I want to say is thank you to Gracen Miller for writing yet another book that is so good it's kept me up at night and gave me the sweetest and sexiest dreams.

Alot of the erotic books I've read in the past have really great sex scenes but the story line is very week. It's like the author just sort of added the story an after thought because he or she needed the filler.

Taboo Kisses is not like that. The story line is stand alone amazing! The sex scenes just make the story wickedly sinful in a completely enjoyable way.

I absolutely love all three of the main characters. Sameya, Gabriel, and Maximus all have such unique qualities and personalities that when brought together make for a perfect and compelling tri-union. Three strong alphas soul mated together make their relationship a very dynamic and interesting  read.

Maximus:

Every bit of the vampire he is. Domineering, hostage taking, possessive, and at times very smart ass.

Gabriel:

Possessive, protective, kind, attentive, loving and at times aggressive to a falt. Everything I'd Want in a shifter.

Sameya:

Fifty two thousand, one hundred and thirteen years old. A headstrong protector of her Queen. She has spent her life alone and depending on nothing and no-one to take care of her.

I read this book from cover to cover in one sitting because quite simply it was just too good to put down! Every steamy scene was perfect. the story line was very intriguing. The characters were so interesting. I soaked up this story so completely and when I was done I wanted to beg for more. More of there back story, more of their future, of their life and adventures together, more sex. lol That's right I said it. How could I not when reading a book that is seventy plus percent steamy, sexy, kinky, HOT HOT HOT bedroom play.

If you liked Fifty Shades a of Grey let me tell you that book has nothing on Taboo Kisses!
I recommend This book to all of my ADULT girls out there and for my not so adult friends reading this right now shame on you!

My Review
When you read my review please keep in mind that Silenced is a YA book. Even though I read and review alot of books in this genre I am thirty-six years old so sometimes it's very hard to relate to a younger character. This is very true with this book. Amber is a seventeen year old girl who feels like she is unlikable, unwanted, and lied to and her whole world is falling apart. I felt like her feelings were blown way out of proportion considering her circumstances. But I guess that's what it's like being a teenager. I can certainly look back and think why was that such a big deal  that was nothing.

Even though I couldn't relate to Ambers situation I could certainly relate to her addiction. I wasn't a cutter I was a drug addict. I started with the small things like pot and drinking when I was twelve and by the time I was eighteen I was an avid meth user. So much so I couldn't function without it. When Amber starts describing her withdraw and need it reminded me of that same feeling I used to get when I tried to "slow" down or when I felt I just couldn't function until I got my next fix.

This book is very emotion charged and full of ups and downs. VERY well written. I felt at times like I was reading not a character but out of a real girls diary. The story felt authentic and I think that's something that make for a great book. I like the way that at times Amber starts to realize that all though no one is going though exactly the same problems she has to deal with no body has a perfect life and everyone struggles with something.

I would and will be recommending this book to to my teenage reader friends. I think there are alot of lessons for a teenage girl to learn from reading this book.

Baby
by J.K. Accinni

FREE TO DOWNLOAD ON JAN 15TH & JAN 16TH

Have you ever wondered why God does not punish the evil and depraved of our planet? Why does He tolerate the destructive bloodthirsty nature of Homo sapiens allowing them to rule over all creatures, abusing and exploiting according to their whims? Why has science been unable to solve the vexing mystery of our ancestor, the Missing Link? How could one planet evolve such complex and divergent examples of biodiversity? Can you imagine God ever saying, “To Hell with this mess that is Earth?”
The series “Species Intervention #6609” spans two hundred years, encompassing tender love between divergent species, political downfalls and violence of unspeakable order. It is an unfortunate tale of Armageddon and the remote possibility of redemption.
In Baby, Netty is a naive teenage farm girl given in marriage to an older brutal opportunist disguised as a successful citizen during the years of Prohibition in Sussex County, New Jersey. After years of enslavement, Netty flees into the night from her rapist husband, traveling back to the farm worked by her parents, where she rescues an unfamiliar damaged creature she finds in a cave in the woods of her childhood, falling in love with the enigmatic creature she names Baby. Together they find happiness and fulfillment despite the changes to Netty’s body wrought by the proximity of the unusual creature.
When a handsome Italian stranger comes into Netty’s life, complications ensue as she falls in love while trying to hide the bizarre and wondrous changes to her farm and her body. Netty,
Baby and Wil strive to conquer obstacles thrown in their path by life, succeeding wildly until the heart-rending and astonishingly brutal climax to their story.
